We certainly aren’t people who quit their jobs to travel the world. Instead, we go on vacations because we don’t have children.

I’m Nicole, a funny person, writer, and travel enthusiast. Runaway Marriage is a blog chronicling the travel I do with my dope-ass husband and muse, Ben. You may be wondering, how do we afford this lavish lifestyle? Welp, we are based in Cleveland, and the day-to-day living is cheap. If we lived in New York or Los Angeles, this would be a blog about our tiny apartment.

 

This is where most bloggers say something about being a “Gypsy at heart” or some crap. But “gypsy” isn’t a nice word.

 

So despite both my husband and I being greasy BoHunks, we can’t call our blog Gypsy Wanderers. There are enough Gypsy Travel blogs out there anyway.

We love exploring cities, making small talk with strangers, and drinking $15 cocktails. We can’t get enough of each other, and long days traveling are an excellent way to spend time together.

 

Sometimes we bring our dog, Brewski, on our trips. She a super gud grrrl that likes strangers even more than we do!

 

We do have to lock her in the bathroom so we can have sex in the hotel room. If you were wondering, we absolutely do not let her watch under any circumstances.
